Our History
Infoshare was set up with the support of USAID under the ‘Peace Support Project’ for Sri Lanka implemented by the Academy for Education Development (AED). From these humble beginnings, Infoshare has grown into a leading technology solutions provider for the international development community, and expanded its presence to cover South and South East Asia and the Middle East.

2004 |
Infoshare established by USAID and AED under the $7 million Peace Support Project in Sri Lanka, to engender information sharing and collaboration among stakeholders of the peace process. |

2005 |
Infoshare teams up with Microsoft as its Unlimited Potential (UP) partner in Sri Lanka, to deliver an island-wide ICT skills development project in partnership with the Vocational Training Authority of Sri Lanka. |

2006 |
Infoshare awarded the USAID Last Mile Initiative (LMI) in partnership with Synergy Strategies Group (SSG), employing an innovative, market driven approach to extend rural access to information and services.

2007 |
Infoshare partners with USAID and Microsoft to deliver the Unlimited Potential Partnership, developing and implementing ICT based curricula for the agriculture, apparel, media and tourism industries. |

2008 |
Infoshare awarded a contract under the $12 million USAID funded Supporting Regional Governance (SuRG), working with the ARD Inc, to provide innovative IT solutions for information sharing and collaboration. |

Infoshare signs an agreement with Microsoft to extend workforce development initiatives to the emerging Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector in Sri Lanka, partnering with the national BPO chamber. |
