Rapid advancements in technology are transforming the way we live and work. In business, across government, and in the field of economic and social development, information and communication technologies (ICTs) hold tremendous promise for the future and yet, there is insufficient knowledge and understanding about how best to utilize new technologies as a tool for economic and social change.

Infoshare was established in early 2004 as a non-profit social enterprise working to create innovative technology solutions to help international organizations, governments and civil society increase the impact and effectiveness of their work. Our goal is simple: utilize the power and reach of technology to help advance and sustain economic and social change, and ultimately, improve people’s lives.

We provide a range of services starting with identifying appropriate technology solutions to help solve socio-economic development issues and incorporating these solutions into a program framework, to providing hands on project management expertise, technical assistance and training. We don’t just deliver ICT solutions: we integrate technology tools and training into an overall development strategy.

Since 2004, we have built cutting edge tools and applications for peace building and conflict resolution, human rights monitoring and human trafficking prevention as well as implemented large scale workforce development and training programs, working with the US Agency for International Development (USAID), the Academy for Education Development (AED), ARD, the Asia Foundation and Microsoft among others.

Being a technology solutions provider, our team is made up of experienced technical experts, proficient in a variety of technology domains. On the other hand, as a non-profit, we know and understand development and are deeply committed to social change. We measure our success not just by business and financial returns, but by the social returns we generate for our clients, ‘the double bottom line’.
